The first bangle is a wide rigid construction of approximately 18 to 20mm in matte antique gold honeycomb filigree openwork: a repeating body of hexagonal/honeycomb gold cells that allow light through the bangle body in an intricate, architectural pattern. At intervals across the bangle face, large emerald/cushion-cut ruby red CZ stones of approximately 10 by 8mm blaze in square gold bezels, each bezel surrounded by a border of emerald green CZ micro-pavé that frames the ruby stone in a jewel-toned combination of deep red and rich green — a color pairing of maximum Mughal opulence. The upper and lower edges of both bangles carry serrated/crenellated gold granulation borders that add a traditional South Indian temple-gold texture of extraordinary authenticity.
The second bangle carries the same architectural ambition in an entirely different visual register: three parallel rows of round brilliant white CZ in individual gold cup settings run the full circumference of the bangle in an unbroken triple-row of white brilliance, the density of the three rows creating a bangle of exceptional all-round sparkle. At matching intervals, the same large emerald/cushion-cut ruby red CZ stones in their emerald green pavé-bordered square bezels appear as jewel-toned anchors within the white CZ field, the ruby-and-green bezels providing color drama against the surrounding white brilliance.
